Week of January 23 – JST John 1:17 – “For the law was given through Moses, but light and truth came through Jesus Christ.”

Week of March 27 – Matthew 13:33 – “Another parable he spake unto them: The kingdom of heaven is like unto leaven, which a woman took, and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened.”

Week of April 3 – John 5:39 – “Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.”

Week of April 10 – JST Mark 16:4 – “But the angels said unto them, Be not affrighted; ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified; he is risen; he is not here; behold the place where they laid him;”

Week of May 22 – SCRIPTURE MEMORIZATION FINAL on May 22 – Be able to write or recite correctly all Scripture Memorizations to this point.

Week of May 22 – Matthew 21:22 – “And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.”

Week of May 29 – Luke 21:36 – “Watch ye therefore, and pray always, and keep my commandments that ye may be counted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass and to stand before the Son of man when he shall come clothed in the glory of his Father.”

Week of June 5 – John 14:26 – “But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.”

Week of June 12 – Doctrine and Covenants 11:12 – “And now, verily, verily, I say unto thee, put your trust in that Spirit which leadeth to do good – yea, to do justly, to walk humbly, to judge righteously; and this is my Spirit.”

Week of June 19 – Doctrine and Covenants 19:16, 18 & 19 – “For behold, I. God, have suffered these things for all, that they might not suffer if they would repent; Which suffering caused myself, even God, the greatest of all, to tremble because of pain, and to bleed at every pore, and to suffer both body and spirit – and would that I might not drink the bitter cup, and shrink – Nevertheless, glory be to the Father, and I partook and finished my preparations unto the children of men.”

Week of June 26 – Isaiah 41:10 – “Fear not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee, yea, I will help thee.”

Week of July 3 – John 20:29 – “Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed; blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.”

Week of July 10 – Acts 3:19 – “Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.”

Week of August 14 – Romans 6:23 – “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

Week of August 21 – NOTE: There are several verses in last week’s reading which are worthy of memorization. No, you do NOT need to memorize them all. Just memorize the ONE that you feel is the ONE you should memorize. Read them all, all 12. Then, as the Lord knows which one will help you the most, make it a matter of prayer, and ask Him which ONE you need to memorize.

Romans 8:6 – “For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.”

Romans 8:14 – “For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.”

Romans 8:16 – “The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:”

Romans 8:28 – “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to his purpose.”

Romans 8:31 – “What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can prevail against us?”

Romans 10:13 – “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

Romans 10:17 – “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”

Romans 12:21 – “Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.”

Romans 13:8 – “Owe no man any thing, but to love one another; for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.”

Romans 14:12 – “So then everyone of us shall give account of himself to God.”

Romans 14:17 – “For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.”

Romans 14:19 – “Let us therefore follow after things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.”

Week of August 28 – I Corinthians 3:16 – Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?”

Week of September 4 – Choose one:

– I Corinthians 13:13 – “And now abideth faith, hope, and charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.”

– I Corinthians 10:13 – “There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.”

– I Corinthians 10: 31 – “Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.”
