Week of August 14 – Romans 6:23 – “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

Week of August 21 – NOTE: There are several verses in last week’s reading which are worthy of memorization. No, you do NOT need to memorize them all. Just memorize the ONE that you feel is the ONE you should memorize. Read them all, all 12. Then, as the Lord knows which one will help you the most, make it a matter of prayer, and ask Him which ONE you need to memorize.

Romans 8:6 – “For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.”

Romans 8:14 – “For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.”

Romans 8:16 – “The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:”

Romans 8:28 – “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to his purpose.”

Romans 8:31 – “What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can prevail against us?”

Romans 10:13 – “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

Romans 10:17 – “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”

Romans 12:21 – “Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.”

Romans 13:8 – “Owe no man any thing, but to love one another; for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.”

Romans 14:12 – “So then everyone of us shall give account of himself to God.”

Romans 14:17 – “For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.”

Romans 14:19 – “Let us therefore follow after things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.”

Week of August 28 – I Corinthians 3:16 – Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?”

Week of September 4 – Choose one:

– I Corinthians 13:13 – “And now abideth faith, hope, and charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.”

– I Corinthians 10:13 – “There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.”

– I Corinthians 10: 31 – “Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.”

Week of September 11 – I Corinthians 15:22 – “For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.”

Week of September 18 – JST – II Corinthians 5:16 – “Wherefore, henceforth live we no more after the flesh; yea, though we once lived after the flesh, yet since we have known Christ, now henceforth live we no more after the flesh.”

Beginning the Week of September 25, 2023, we will increase our study of the topic presented in the Come Follow Me Lesson for the Previous week.
– The Memory Verse for the week is given first, followed by further insights into what is expected of us.

2 – Galatians 3:26 & 29 – “For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus…And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.”
3 – Galatians 5:1 – “Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ has made us free, and not be entangled again with the yoke of bondage.”
4 – Galatians 5:14 – “For all the lase is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.”
5 – Galatians 22-23 – “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.”
6 – Galatians 6:9-10 – “And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season shall we reap if we faint not. As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.”
MEMORY VERSE: Galatians 5:25 – “If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.”
